On to the Moon...

In recent times some friends have begun fan projects on spacecraft from the 2001 ASO movie, like Discovery and the Aries 1B.

And with the recent passing of Neil Armstrong and the shriveled up support for NASA and Space Exploration, I have felt saddened by what we have become, and where we came from decades ago, and where we should have been by now.

For me, the Moon has always been the stepping stone. So I am going to try and make a Clavius Base model (from 2001: ASO).

To start, I worked out a decent Moon Model, from which I will create a Clavius crater terrain and then on to build a Clavius Base similar to the one in the movie.
